Enables the previous "classic" editor and the old-style Edit Post screen with TinyMCE, Meta Boxes, etc. Supports all plugins that extend this screen.
== Description ==
Classic Editor is an official plugin maintained by the WordPress team that restores the previous ("classic") WordPress editor and the "Edit Post" screen. It makes it possible to use plugins that extend that screen, add old-style meta boxes, or otherwise depend on the previous editor.
Classic Editor is an official WordPress plugin, and will be fully supported and maintained until 2024, or as long as is necessary.
At a glance, this plugin adds the following:
* Administrators can select the default editor for all users.
* Administrators can allow users to change their default editor.
* When allowed, the users can choose which editor to use for each post.
* Each post opens in the last editor used regardless of who edited it last. This is important for maintaining a consistent experience when editing content.
In addition, the Classic Editor plugin includes several filters that let other plugins control the settings, and the editor choice per post and per post type.
By default, this plugin hides all functionality available in the new block editor ("Gutenberg").

OUR TEN TIPS WHEN DESIGNING YOUR HOME
It’s our goal to make sure that your home design goes as smoothly as possible. We’re more than happy to give you these ten home design tips to help you out:
If you’re going to set the tone for your house, it starts at the front door. The look and color of the door will likely be the first impression for many visitors.
Think about the theme that you’ll have for each room. Don’t go overboard with the theme, but make sure that everything fits into the room.
Most of your rooms should have a focal point – the attention-grabbing centerpiece of the room. This is what you want the rest of the room to be based around. Everything else should complement it.
Place your furniture in a way that accommodates conversation, balance, and intimacy.
Make sure to hang your artwork based upon an average person’s sightline.
You’ll want to layer your lighting so that the focal points and other important areas of your house benefit from the added lighting. These layers of lighting will create interest and give variety.
Take a second look at the items you already have in your house when you’re about to decorate. Chances are that you may already have a similar decoration and you won’t need to spend any extra money on a new one.
If you’re going to be doing any work from home, we recommend having a convenient office room for your work or business.
One of the last things you should decide on is the wall color. It’s easiest to pick a color after all of your stuff is in the room.
Lighter, neutral colors are generally recommended because they’ll make rooms feel bigger and it won’t be as jarring when moving from one area to another.
Most importantly, be creative! While tips and guidelines are a great way to get started; you’ll be the one living in the home so it’s up to you to find what will make you happy on a daily basis.

As your trusted Los Angeles general contractor, we’re glad to provide you with a wide variety of remodeling services in order to help give you the home of your dreams. One of the ways we can help improve your home is through our swimming pool installation. If you’re considering installing a swimming pool inside (or outside) of your house, we believe that it’s important for you to consider these ten important tips.
Our Top Ten Tips
When you’re considering swimming pool installation, we want you to think of these things:
Make sure to understand the dimensions of the pool and how well it will fit in the area (indoors or outdoors) you want to install it in.
If you’re installing an outdoor pool, check with the local zoning regulations to make sure that you’re not violating any rules.
Know whether the pool is something that you can install on your own or if you’ll need a contractor or specialist to install it.
Do your research first. Installing a swimming pool is a costly expense so you’ll want to make sure that your contractor is someone that you can trust with this expensive endeavor.
You’ll also want to think about the ongoing expenses of the pool. This can include things like the water for the pool, chemicals, and repairing or fixing anything that happens to break.
Think about the time you’ll have to invest in keeping the pool clean. This is where a filter will come in handy. It’s costly, but very useful.
You’ll also want to purchase a water heater to keep the pool warm.
Safety is of the utmost importance when you have a pool. Investing in waters alarms, safety covers, and life jackets is a great idea to prevent accidents. If you have children, you should think about getting them swimming lessons.
Insurance coverage for your swimming pool is part of your homeowners insurance. Check with your insurance company to see how much your insurance will increase with the addition of the pool.
Check to see if the pool comes with a warranty and also what it covers.

https://www.jnoconstruction.com/top-ten-room-addition-tips/#respondTue, 28 Mar 2017 22:19:16 +0000http://24constructionanddesign.com/top-ten-room-addition-tips/At JNO Construction & Design, it’s our goal to give everyone in and around Los Angeles, CA, the possibility of attaining the house of their dreams. We don’t only offer Los Angeles kitchen remodeling and bathroom remodeling – we offer a wide variety of services that are sure to suit your home remodeling needs. One of these services that we’re proud to provide is room addition. As your trusted Los Angeles general contractor, we’d like to give you a list of ten things to know if you’re planning on adding a room to your house.
Ten Things to Know About Adding a Room
Here are ten of the most important things to know or think about when adding a room:
The average cost of adding a room is just over $40,000 so be ready to spend the necessary money on this endeavor.
If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative, you can install a sun room, a budget-friendly addition to a house.
Consult with an architect beforehand to make sure that the design is cohesive with the rest of the building.
Find a trustworthy contractor. They’ll take a normally difficult process and simplify it, which is especially useful if you don’t have construction knowledge.
Make sure that you or your contractor go over your town’s rules so that you don’t break anything, such as a height limit if you’re planning on expanding upward.
Understand that this is a process that can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. Be prepared to take the precautions necessary, even if it has to include sleeping elsewhere for the time being.
Take into account how much space you’ll have to add for your new room.
Make sure that the room will add value to your house and then determine how much value it will add.
Because the room will add value to your house, it will also raise your taxes.
If you’re adding a ground-level room, you’ll want to keep the floor of the new room at the same level as the floor of the rest of the house.

Transform Your Home – Start With Your Floors!
Now is a better time than ever to begin your long-awaited home renovation journey! We have loads of tips and tricks that we would love to share with you including:
Decide The Purpose Of The Floor:
Depending on factors such as which room you are renovating, your ideal flooring choice is probably going to be different. In living rooms, where most of the foot traffic happens, your best option may be a durable and aesthetically pleasing hardwood. If you are redoing the floors in a bedroom, there is more room for creativity, so take time to develop your specific flooring taste and choose something based solely on your preferences!
Cost:
All flooring materials have different grades of quality and are priced differently. Especially if you have a bigger room, this may be more of a concern. We can discuss your different pricing options to help you determine what new flooring may best fit your needs!
Ease Of Care:
There are some flooring options that are more easily cared for than others. If this is more of a concern for you and your family, we may urge you to consider low-maintenance flooring such as bamboo, laminate, hardwood and vinyl.
Eco-Friendly Options:
Are you looking for flooring that is appealing AND environmentally friendly? Some beautiful eco-friendly flooring options include bamboo, cork, or recycled hardwood. In choosing these options, you can be good to yourself as well as the environment!
Consider Ceramic For Your Kitchen Or Bathrooms:
Ceramic offers a variety of texture and pattern to a room. It is easy to clean and looks great in kitchens or bathrooms!
Ease Of Linoleum:
Linoleum flooring is available in a wide variety of colors and patterns, and is also extremely durable. If you are looking for a versatile and low-maintenance new floor, linoleum may be perfect for you!
Timeless Stone:
Stone flooring exudes timeless beauty and grace and will give your home new added character. Stone is also easy to clean, and is very durable and fire-resistant!
Laminate For An Upscale Look On A Budget:
If you want a classy floor without going all-in on hardwood, laminate is a gorgeous alternative. Laminate is made from pressed wood, is extremely durable, and resists both scratches and moisture.
All-Natural Cork: Besides being an eco-friendly flooring option, cork is also conveniently resistant to mold and mildew. Because of the air in the natural cells of cork, cork flooring is both soft and easy on the feet. Because of this, it can be an ideal option for families with young children!
Comfortable Carpet:
Carpet is a comfortable and safe option for young children and is one of the most versatile flooring options! Carpet is comfortable to the touch and comes in a number of different styles and textures so you can find the perfect option for your home.

Upgrade To More Durable and Attractive Furniture: Many people spend time on their patio when they want to relax and unwind. We can help you choose tables and chairs, benches, and more that will be perfect for your climate and provide enjoyment for years to come.
Consider A Warm And Inviting Fire Pit: With the help of a fire pit, your outdoor patio space will be perfect for
year-round lounging! The perfect fire pit will also add a gorgeous touch to any patio.
Pick Your Lighting: Lighting is key to creating ambiance, so think about the environment you want to create and we can help you choose mood lighting that will best fit your lifestyle.
Add The Flare of An Outdoor Bar: If you really want to impress your guests, add the functional flare of
an inviting outdoor bar. This could include new plumbing and a sink, or could be as simple as a rolling island.
Choose An Outdoor Kitchen and Grill: This way, the cook doesn’t need to be hidden away in the house and can
join all of the outdoor fun instead! Adding a kitchen and a built-in grill is a great idea for people who regularly entertain and love spending time outside.
Consider A Covered Patio To Protect It From Varying Weather Conditions: Covered or partially covered patios will protect you and your furniture from rain or too much sun and give your patio a cozy and comfortable
feel.
Shady Trees Or Fruit-Bearing Plants: Big trees will add an extra sheltered appeal as well as be very aesthetically pleasing. Fruit-bearing plants will be useful as well as fragrant and decorative.
Don’t Forget About Your Outdoor Flooring: Flooring doesn’t stop at the back door of your home! You can help
beautify your patio with stunning stone, concrete, wood, tile, and more.
Consider A Screened-In Patio: Some customers prefer screened-in patios, so choose anything from
glass to screen mesh to cozy up your space and better control pesky bugs and weather!
Pick A Theme: If you are unsure what specific pieces you want in your patio but have a general idea or a theme in mind, our team is more than happy to help you get a list going of ways to bring your dream to life.
